Food on Friday: Almond Apple Muffins
Benjamin & Jalinda gave this cookbook (here) to Mom awhile back~ We love the Apple Muffins (they are like cupcakes!), and the Chocolate Chip Scones are good (our version of the recipe is here), too- if you make them small they are chocolate chip cookies (best eaten fresh out of the oven or frozen), and if you cut the sweetener and leave out the vanilla & chocolate chips, you have buns! (cut and spread with Butter and maybe Jam or Cinnamon Sugar are my favorite!) Elana has LOTS of recipes on her web site, and she has 3 cookbooks (here)!
