An old word for you...

...Receipt or Receit.

Noah Webster's 1812 dictionary says that you can spell it either way.
The 5th definition is:
Recipe; prescription of ingredients for
any composition, as of medicines, etc.
Dictionary.reference.com's last definition for Receipt is:
a recipe.

(all this just because I don't feel like blogging about anything else right now...)
