Sir William Blackstone

As I was cleaning my room today, and I found the following note. It's been so long since I wrote it down, I can't remember who I was listening to! =]

"Used to, if you wanted to be a lawyer, you just went to a bookstore and got a copy of Blackstone's book on the rule of Law, studied that, then you took the bar exam, and if you passed you could be a Lawyer! No schooling required! That is what Abraham Lincoln got to do.

Blackstone says that you must apply the law, not make up laws."

You can read about Sir William Blackstone HERE.
