Musical Monday: "Someone's Waiting For You"

 "Someone's Waiting For You" is a heartbreaking song from The Rescuers, sung as Penny (voiced by Michelle Stacy) is sad that she has never been adopted. The song was nominated for an Academy Award for "Best Original Song". 

Trivia: 
~Disney began working on 
"The Rescuers" in 1962.
~ This 1977 film was the 23rd Disney animated feature film.
 ~ Due to the film's success, a sequel entitled "The Rescuers Down Under" was released in 1990, which made this film the first Disney animated film to have a sequel.
~I'm pretty sure that Uncle Clint took Joshua & I to see the a re-run of this film in the 1980's, or maybe he took all (or some) of us to see
"The Rescuers Down Under.
