Elizabeth's Birthday Party

Elizabeth's party theme was mostly Flamingos & Hawaiian shirts, but I just HAD to make these parrots!!! I saw a "preschool" (super easy) version of this craft on Pinterest (HERE), and thought: "Maybe I can make them fancier/better?!"

After LOTS of searching,  I was able to find FREE, editable Flamingo tags! ((HERE))   Such a fun find, and they were not hard to edit! Oh, and I had Staples print them- they looked SO good.  The Favors were dried fruit, and made up of 1/2 each: a pineapple ring & a kiwi slice, 1/2-1/3 a papaya spear, and a small handful of banana chips.  Not a lot, but a fun little take away treat! =)

Another thing I did with these tags was make labels for the food table.

The main fun thing that we did was have a Tropical Clothing Contest- that was a hit!
Our winners where: Cody, Elizabeth, Peter & Mary!  =)

Are not these Flamingo straws cute?!?!  I got them here.
Note: I opened them up in advance- it was a good thing too, as it took a lot of time and patience!

The Table.  Thanks to all you lovely friends for bringing all the wonderful food!
(I just LOVE the napkins I found (here)- they were perfect for our party!)
We had Flamingo labels on the food, and Flamingo toothpicks too!
