Look what came today! A box of 20 heavy-duty, PINK,
made in the U.S.A. clothes hangers, from my little brother, Benjamin! =O I was
(and am) SO excited to get them~ they are so much fun! Thank you, thank you, thank you, brother- I do believe that you get the thoughtfulness award
again! =)

Have you ever read "Thimble Summer"? I LOVE Elizabeth Enright's books about the Melendy family
(click here), but I had never read the book that she was famous for. Until January, that is. Thimble Summer is a sweet book about a farm girl, around 1939ish. There are a few loose ends that bothered me, but all in all, I would read it again. And I would give it to my children to read.

Emmet & Fergie, being sweet. =)

And speaking of sweet, the other day, I blended up a quart bag of Organic Strawberries, a few drops of Organic Orange Extract, and a couple of Tablespoons of Rice Bran Oil~ it was so good!
(and pretty) Mom & Dad added sweetener to theirs...but I thought that it was just fine the way it was! I wish I had more! =)

I've read Thimble Summer before. But it's been a very long time, so I really don't remember that story line!
